AV Rider
Computer, Projectors, and Displays
Josh provides his own Apple MacBook Pro 14” running macOS Monterey v 12.2.1.

Video
Josh has a direct HDMI port, and his entire presentation is presented from his computer using a 16:9 display ratio at 3840 by 2160

AV Testing / Soundcheck
Josh requires an A/V check no fewer than 30 minutes before taking the stage.

Audio
Josh can use the standard 3.5mm analog headphone jack, USB-C ports, or HDMI, whichever you prefer. Please note that an audio connection is required.

Confidence Monitors
Josh requires an A/V check no fewer than 30 minutes before taking the stage.

Slide Advancer
The client must provide a DSAN Perfect Cue system (or equivalent) for Josh’s direct slide control, which connects to his laptop via a USB or USB-C port.

No Podium
Josh prefers no podium on stage. If one must be present, it must be pushed back so he may walk in front of it unencumbered.

Computer Location
Josh does not need the computer on stage with him. In fact, he prefers the computer to be placed with the AV crew so it doesn’t clutter up the stage.

No Internet Access
Josh presents using his own laptop with all videos, audio, and content embedded in the presentation. Therefore, no internet access is necessary.

Microphone
Josh requires a wireless lavalier or “countryman” microphone connected to a professional audio system.

Beverage
Please have a bottle of water available to Josh while on stage.
Music of Business Keynote
In addition to the above requirements, the following additional requirements *ONLY* apply when incorporating live jazz into the program:
- AC power on stage for two amps (guitar and upright bass)
- 2-3 microphones on boom mic stands for the drum kit. Note: this is a small jazz kit, not a large rock concert kit so 2-3 mics should work fine to get the drums into the house audio
- Line out (XLR) from the two amps (bass and guitar) into the house audio. Alternatively, you can mic the amps if you prefer (one mic and one small mic stand or boom stand for each).
- Three mics and mic stands at the front of the stage for audience participation.
- 30 minutes for load-in and audio check required
- 15 minute tear-down required
- Three bottles of water (one for each musician)
- Adequate parking for local musicians
